Management & Group  A duo of two young chemical engineers from Gujarat state, Mr. Jayanti Patel and Mr. Ashish Soparkar,  envisioned a project in 1976 to manufacture world-class Organic Pigments and Dyestuffs.  They wanted to enter into a business otherwise controlled by big Industrial houses and Multinationals.  As their first footsteps towards fulfilling their dream, they established `Ashish Chemicals' in 1976 to manufacture `Reactive Turquoise Blues'.  A decade later they promoted `Gujarat Industries' now synonymous as `Meghmani Organics Limited' to manufacture Pigment Green 7. The success of their second venture enabled the duo again to establish "Meghmani Pigments"(Earlier known as:`Alpanil Industries') to manufacture `Carbazole Pigment Violet 23' in 1992. From a modest beginning with Ashish Chemicals, the duo is responsible for the formation of the `Meghmani Group of Industries' whose turnover in 2008 was more than US$ 150 Mn. with export earnings constituting 95%. Meghmani Pigments (Earlier known as: Alpanil Industries), a part of this prestigious group, is dedicated to the manufacture of Pigment Violet 23. Excited with newer chemistry, we have recently started manufacturing two new High Performance Pigments - Quinacridone Pigments Violet 19 and Red 122 at our new, ultra-modern 100% export oriented unit. Meghmani Pigments (Earlier known as: Alpanil Industries)was certified `ISO 9002' in 1998 and was certified `ISO 9001:2000' in 2001 & continued valid to-day.
